Group Structure

A typical MIM small group consists of four to seven men and is led by a trained facilitator. Each gathering follows a structured yet conversational format using My Journey, a transformative workbook that guides reflection and growth while creating space for honest sharing and personal stories.

At the heart of the group is a simple principle: participation rather than instruction. Instead of being taught, men engage in learning from one another as they process life together.

Members come prepared to share their answers in the workbook, reflections, listen attentively, ask thoughtful questions, and encourage one another to look to Jesus for direction, strength, and hope.

Community and Accountability

Beyond scheduled meetings, Small Groups often grow into genuine communities that spill over into everyday life. Men not only learn and reflect together but also share laughter, hobbies, and memorable experiences, building bonds that go beyond the meeting room.

Members support one another through prayer, encouragement, and practical care, cultivating relationships marked by trust and mutual accountability. This relational approach helps men stay engaged and consistent, reinforcing biblical truths through real-life application while enjoying the journey together.

Local Contexts, Shared Framework

While the Small Group framework remains consistent, groups are formed and facilitated locally. Churches and communities are free to adapt meeting rhythms and settings to suit cultural and logistical realities across Asia.

MIM Asia provides guidance, training, and resources to ensure each group maintains the integrity of the model while remaining locally relevant and sustainable.
